HASTE v18 — MOD COMPATIBILITY DEVELOPMENT BUILD

Target platform
- Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.0 through 26.3, where compatible Sodium + Iris releases are available.
- Shader backend: Iris + Sodium. This pack does not target OptiFine or Oculus.

First compatibility layer: Biomes O' Plenty
- Adds namespaced block mappings for the mod's foliage and plant families.
- Leaves are classified for Haste's existing leaf wind, foliage translucency, and wet-surface treatment.
- Grasses, flowers, saplings, and shrubs are classified for Haste's existing plant movement and foliage translucency.
- Two-block tall plants have lower/upper mappings so the existing shader animation can treat each plant as a continuous unit.
- Hanging vegetation is classified for Haste's connected-stalk movement path.
- Unknown/unsupported mod blocks retain the normal fallback rendering; no custom textures or mod assets are bundled.

Important verification note
This is a compatibility-target development build, not a claim that every Minecraft patch, Sodium/Iris build,
loader, and Biomes O' Plenty release from 1.21.0 through 26.3 has been runtime-tested. The block mappings are
built from namespaced registry IDs observed in the Biomes O' Plenty 1.21 and 26.3 shader mapping files; other
release branches may add, remove, or rename IDs. Test in the exact profile and mod build you use, and report
shader compile errors or blocks with incorrect sway/translucency.

Technical note
Iris reads shaders/block.properties and exposes mapped block classes through mc_Entity in terrain shader
programs. The numeric mapping IDs are Haste-specific; upstream Biomes O' Plenty numeric IDs were not copied
because the mod's own comment says those IDs are tailored to Complementary.

Distant Horizons: experimental initial compatibility shaders added in v35. Terrain/water LOD rendering and depth-aware final fog are implemented, but runtime compatibility is not yet verified. See HASTE_V35_DISTANT_HORIZONS_COMPATIBILITY.txt.
